Cookie Policy
This Policy explains how Auxilla uses cookies, browser storage and similar technologies to keep the platform working, remember choices and protect users.
What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a device by a website. Similar technologies include local browser storage and technical identifiers used to remember information or support security, payments and diagnostics.
Some technologies are set directly by Auxilla. Others may be set or controlled by a provider when you use a hosted service such as Stripe Checkout or Stripe Connect.
Technologies used by Auxilla
Authentication session
session to keep a signed-in user authenticated and to help protect restricted pages. The signed session token is designed to expire within seven days. Disabling it prevents signed-in features from working.Theme preference
auxilla-theme to remember whether you selected the light or dark appearance. It remains until it is changed or cleared through your browser.Stripe-hosted services
Error and performance monitoring
Why we use them
- to keep users signed in securely;
- to enforce access and security controls;
- to remember a user-requested appearance preference;
- to support secure campaign payments and promoter onboarding;
- to diagnose faults and maintain platform reliability; and
- to prevent fraud, abuse and automated attacks.
Advertising and analytics
Auxilla does not currently use third-party behavioural-advertising cookies, advertising pixels or cookies used to build profiles for targeted advertising.
Auxilla does not currently run a separate marketing-analytics product such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel on its own pages. This Policy will be updated before any materially different non-essential tracking is introduced.
Third-party pages
When you leave Auxilla for a Stripe-hosted page or another external service, that provider may set and control its own cookies or similar technologies. Auxilla does not control every technology used on an external provider’s domain.
Managing cookies and browser storage
You can inspect, block or delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will stop signed-in features from working. Clearing the theme preference will reset the saved appearance choice.
Your browser’s help pages explain how to manage storage for the browser and device you use.
Changes and contact
We may update this Policy if Auxilla changes the technologies it uses. The latest revision date appears above.
Questions about cookies or similar technologies can be sent to support@auxilla.co.uk.
